OUR NAME

GTDs means family.

Gua comes from Mugua, Tu from Tuhao, and Di comes from 蒂 (di), the second character in Katy's Chinese name (凯蒂). Together, they became GTDs.

Later, Mugua's younger brother Niunai joined the family. Today, GTDs stands for every pet we call family.

Our founding team brings experience from the veterinary active-ingredient industry and scaled manufacturing. Together with university researchers, we are exploring functional pet foods through nutrition research, scientific formulation and continued validation.

Functional pet-food patent application published

Publication CN121445001A covers a composition combining ergothioneine and undenatured type II collagen peptides for senior pets and pets recovering from surgery.

The collaborative research described here is ongoing. Related functional pet foods are not yet for sale; the invention patent application has been published but has not been granted.
